On the evening of March 21, I missed a step on the stairs and injured my right ankle so severely that it made a loud cracking sound. By the next day, my foot was so swollen that I could not even put weight on it. On March 23, after an orthopedic examination, I was diagnosed with a fracture of the inner bone of my right ankle and a rupture of the outer ligament, requiring about three months of treatment. ...
Deaconess Jihyun Ha, age 43, Changwon Manmin Church
I graduated from the Department of Nursing Science and entered a general hospital in 1997. I have tried to give out the fragrance of Christ according to Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's teachings.
I tried to consider the benefit of coworkers and subordinates, and took care of patients as though they were my family. I tried to give peace and be kind to patients' families. My patients recovered quickly and there were many who wanted to be assigned to the room I was in charge of. I became a good example in the hospital.
On December 30, 2016, I received Board Chairman Award that is given to a worker who made a contribution to the hospital at the end of year, and on January 6, 2017, I was promoted from Grade 5 to Grade 4 as a section chief. In fact, my hospital has a low turnover rate of nurses because we are treated as civil servants so there are many people waiting for promotion. However, the hospital would promote very few people considering the management. But after I offered up New Year's Service in Seoul and shook hands with Senior Pastor with faith, I heard this news of blessings. I was very happy.
While I felt thankful on one hand, I felt worried on the other. It was because the policy of wards that I was in charge of had changed and I would have to work in three shifts beginning February 1. I relied on God and thought about His good will, and through Senior Pastor's prayer, on January 23rd I was assigned to a position that I don't work in three shifts. Hallelujah!
