On July 19 this year, I slipped and fell while it was raining. My right hand bent backward, and my wrist hit the stairs hard. When I tried to move my hand, it wouldn’t move at all, and I thought, ‘What I feared has finally happened.’ I remembered how I had neglected my prayer life and spent my time watching dramas instead. ...
I was not able to see well with cataracts, but now I can see clearly!
Honorary Senior Deaconess Hyehwa Ahn | 74, Parish 12 in Manmin Central Church
In April of 2024, I was diagnosed with cataracts through a regular checkup. In those days, I did not feel any problem in my eyes, and I did not think much of it because I could see well. However, in the first week of May, both the eyes suddenly became blurred as if they were covered with thick fog, and I could not even see things close well. I was embarrassed at first. I attended a 21-day Vowed Daniel Prayer Meeting from May 13 until June 2 and prayed for my healing. On May 31, I attended a Divine Healing Meeting with faith and received the prayer from Speaker Pastor Soojin Lee, saying “Amen!” when she mentioned ‘cataract’ in prayer. On June 2, while attending the Sunday Morning Service, I could clearly see the subtitles of hymnal lyrics on the screen in 4 weeks. The right eye was clear, but the left eye remained a little blurred. I wanted to be healed of the remainder in the left eye completely in the coming summer retreat, and tried my best to please God. I attended a 21-day Daniel Prayer Meeting held from July 7 through 21 and earnestly prayed for it. I fasted every morning for 21 days and tried hard to preach the gospel and participate in volunteer service. On July 29, I attended the event and earnestly received the Speaker’s prayer for the sick laying my right hand on the left eye at the Divine Healing Meeting. I opened my eyes and blurry symptoms of the left eye had already disappeared. I could see clearly. Hallelujah! I give all thanks and glory to our loving God who healed me.
