On the evening of March 21, I missed a step on the stairs and injured my right ankle so severely that it made a loud cracking sound. By the next day, my foot was so swollen that I could not even put weight on it. On March 23, after an orthopedic examination, I was diagnosed with a fracture of the inner bone of my right ankle and a rupture of the outer ligament, requiring about three months of treatment. To make matters worse, on April 4, I injured my left ankle while coming down the stairs. The next day, April 5, Easter Sunday, I attended the service on crutches, with my left ankle wrapped in a compression bandage and my right ankle in a cast. During the day, while Senior Pastor Soojin Lee was watching the Easter egg display, she saw me on crutches and prayed on my right foot. At the moment she prayed, I had the assurance that I was already healed. Before the Sunday evening service, I removed the cast and worshiped, and the next morning, all pain had completely disappeared, and I was able to walk without crutches. Hallelujah! When I visited the orthopedic clinic on April 27, the doctor asked if I had surgery elsewhere, saying the bone had healed remarkably well. Although the pain was gone, I was still limping slightly. As I reflected on the reason, I remembered praying in an unwise way and repented of it. Then, on May 1, when I attended an event at the prayer house, Senior Pastor Lee kindly advised me to consistently do ankle-rotation exercises at home. After receiving the blessing prayer for all attendees that day, I was able to walk without limping. On May 5, I joined a relatively easy hike at Gureum Mountain, and on May 25, I was even able to hike the much steeper Gwanak Mountain. Hallelujah!
