Why Jesus had His hands and feet nailed through and bled?
New Update
“And after twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand; and they knelt down before Him and mocked Him, saying, ‘Hail, King of the Jews!’ They spat on Him, and took the reed and began to beat Him on the head. After they had mocked Him, they took the scarlet robe off Him and put His own garments back on Him, and led Him away to crucify Him.” (Matthew 27:29-31) ...

As district leaders, each of us had tripled the size of our respective districts and, along with "The Best District Leader Awards," we went on the pilgrimage to the Holy Land April 30 – May 15, 2007.
First given our God-given duties as district leaders in 2004, we would go out and minister to people on our days off and distribute copies of Manmin News after each "Daniel Prayer Meeting." We were not doing particularly well financially, but we prepared offerings every week and received Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer for the newcomers and the people we had targeted for evangelization.
As we began bearing fruit one by one, we decided to purchase a minivan to shuttle newcomers between Bupyung and the church, which actually was not a short commute.
At the time, all we had was about US$3,000 and there were lots of other expenses that needed to be covered but we ended up purchasing the minivan to please God.
We were now able to ferry the district members and newcomers more comfortably to and from the church, grow closer with each other, which meant we could visit them continuously. All this led to each newcomer and soul becoming wheat in God's eyes, and our district experiencing revival.
A male member of the church, who had previously asked his wife for divorce because of the distorted report on Manmin by a Korean broadcasting company, was transformed by the Senior Pastor's messages and is now leading a faithful life in Christ. I could not be more joyful as I see a newcomer with copies of Manmin News piled in a handcart and ministering to people she doesn't know. Each member of the district has now placed his/her hope in heaven, longs for sanctification, makes every effort to pray fervently, and strives to save that one last soul.
Of course, we were grateful for just these. Beginning last year, however, God has blessed our family financially to give Him the tithes of over $1,000 each month, thereby enabling us to do even more for His kingdom and lost souls. Hallelujah!
