Dr. Jaerock Lee's Revival Meeting in Seongsan Jeil Church
Dr. Jaerock Lee led a revival meeting in Seongsan Jeil Church located in his hometown, Haejae-myeon, Muan County, Jeonnam Province after he graduated from the seminary. From February 28, 1983, for five days, he preached about salvation, miracles, resurrection, the Lord's second coming, and Heaven. After the preaching, he prayed for them, and amazing works of repentance, healing, and blessing unfolded.
A woman who came to the meeting had not been able to walk nor sleep due to sharp pains in her bones for the previous ten years. After receiving his prayer she came to walk and jump. Senior Deaconess Soonja Byeon (Parish 29) said, "I lived in Sinan Country, Jeonnam Province. My neighbors said to me my nephew's wife was healed after receiving the prayer and came to walk. She had tried to be healed of it in many ways. She visited many famous hospitals in Seoul. But none of them worked. When we went somewhere, I had to carry her on my back. It was a miracle that a person who couldn't walk for more than ten years came to walk through the prayer!"
The word of the healing case quickly spread throughout the area, and the very next day 23 churches' members attended. The sanctuary was so full that they had to sit right next to the podium and even filled the front yard of the church. Among them there was a leper. He saw the leaflet about the meeting, secretly attended the meeting, and received healing. Afterwards, he lived in the town and his case was known to other people. An old woman who was bent ninety degrees cordially served Dr. Lee with Korean sweet rice drink every meeting, and on the last day, her bent back was straightened.
