Special Daniel Prayer Meeting Award Ceremony in the 2nd Half of 2017
Beginning on October 9th, a Special Daniel Prayer Meeting was held for 42 days under the auspices of Manmin Prayer Center with the theme of "The Fruit of the Shepherd's Power". On November 19th, the special two sessions ended with the Award Ceremony.
The ceremony was emceed by Rev. Soojin Lee, President of Pastors' Association and Pastor Dongcho Shin, Director of Theology Research Center. Through the drawing of lots, two hundred believers were chosen among those who had attended the two sessions for more than forty days, and they were given gifts. Between the lot drawings the teams of Performing Arts Committee gave Spirit-filled performances.
The Grand Award was given to the one whose prayer card was chosen by Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee, and this time it went to Deaconess Sukja Kim, age 66, Parish 31 (the picture in the bottom right corner). At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Lee prayed via the phone from his mountain prayer house for all the attendees with the original voice for over forty minutes. He gave thanks to God who had been with Manmin through amazing signs, wonders, and powerful works, and prayed for the attendees to receive answers to what they had asked with faith and great blessings with thirty, sixty, and a hundred times.
Daniel Prayer Meeting is held every night and continues for more than two hours under the lead of Mrs. Boknim Lee, President of Manmin Prayer Center. One session lasts for 21 days, and people from all around the world as well as other areas in Korea can join on GCN (www.gcntv.org) and on the Internet. They can pray together for the kingdom and righteousness of God. In particular, Special Daniel Prayer Meeting is conducted in two sessions twice a year in the first and second halves of the year. The meeting starts and ends with Dr. Lee's prayer of blessing. Through his prayer and Mrs. Lee's devotion, the participants have fulfilled their hearts' desire, received the baptism of fire of the Holy Spirit, and grown in spirit. As a host of members have received such overflowing answers and blessings, people join it with more earnestness.
This Special Daniel Prayer Meeting was held in the second half of 2017 with December 25 the meaningful Christmas ahead. The church members' praise and prayer were more fervent than ever before because they wanted to come out as the beautiful fruit of renewal through the shepherd's love and justice before the upcoming Christmas.
