I was born deaf. At the age of eight, I got facial palsy when I was hit on the right side of my face while I was playing with a relative. It was peripheral type of facial palsy caused by facial injury. I was told that chances were that it would reoccur. The symptom of palsy was loosened by a medical treatment, but it reoccurred at 16. It took much time for me to be healed of it.
In April 2016, I heard about Dr. Jaerock Lee from my friend. He said Senior Pastor's sermon is full of life and grace. I started to join the service in sign language through Nefsis multipoint video conferencing. The sermon was really clear and powerful and many people were healed of incurable and terminal diseases. Above all, I was surprised to hear that many deaf people had recovered hearing ability and poor hearing ability had improved.
In August 2017, I participated in Manmin Summer Retreat with longing. I was amazed to see powerful works in person. Furthermore, after I received Senior Pastor's prayer I myself gained the ability to hear though I had previously been completely deaf. I could hear with my right ear better and better over time. I was so surprised. Many other deaf people in addition to me were healed and glorified God.
In April 2018, I wanted to learn Senior Pastor's spiritual messages in more systematic ways and visited Pastor Junghoon Ji in Penang Manmin Deaf Church in Malaysia. I studied the messages and attended every worship service and prayer meeting of the church. When I had fellowship with the church members in several meetings, I learned a lot about a proper Christian life.
But when I stayed in Thailand in late April 2018 to attend the 8th anniversary of Hatyai Manmin Deaf Church, facial palsy struck me again. I was frustrated for a moment but soon received the prayer of the handkerchief that Senior Pastor had prayed on (Acts 19:11-12) from Pastor Ji. After the prayer, the paralysis was all gone within two weeks and I became totally normal.
Back in Latvia, I shared my testimonies with the church members in Latvia Manmin Deaf Church and tried to evangelize people. I give all thanks and glory to God and the Lord. I also extend my thanks to Senior Pastor.
