On November 18, 2018, Manmin Central Church offered up Thanksgiving Sunday Service to God who protected them from diseases, accidents, and all kinds of disasters and blessed them abundantly during the year.
In the Morning Service, Dr. Esther Chung delivered the message entitled "Give Thanks in Everything" based on 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (photo), and in the Evening Service, Rev. Soojin Lee preached under the title of "Persecution and Glory" taken from Hebrews 12:2. In the ensuing Holy Communion Ceremony, the members engraved the love of the Lord in their hearts.
The altar was decorated with 45 crop varieties, 46 fruits, and 197 vegetables and a few others as well; 288 kinds in total. They were contained in big heart-shaped pattern with two angel's wings as decorations. The whole presentation was framed with aurora-like light bulbs. This symbolized the love of God towards all people of all nations and the love of the Lord who is leading us to beautiful heaven. The Women's Mission took the lead in the decoration, and many members worked on the decoration and gave financial support.
