Jung Hee Um (Age 55, 11th Parish)
In March 2017, I used to have 1.0, 1.5 vision, but it suddenly became 0.8, 1.0. I also had presbyopia and had to wear reading glasses. In every worship service, I laid my hands on my eyes while receiving the Senior Pastor Rev. Jaerock Lee's prayer for the sick. Especially, in special occasions like Manmin Summer Retreat or special healing sessions of Manmin Prayer Center, I prepared for those meetings with all my heart.
Visual Acuity Improved
Recently, I had an extraordinary experience. In the early winter of 2018, I was reading out the lyrics of the praise songs for the congregation during the Daniel prayer meetings. Then, suddenly, I could read the letters very clearly.
In my regular health checkup on Dec. 14, I could read even the smallest letters of the visual acuity test. Amazingly, the results were 2.0, 2.0. What is more thankful is that my presbyopia got much better and I can read books without reading glasses. Hallelujah!
As I was experiencing this love of God, I remembered that the power of God touched me from the first day I came to our church.
In September 1990, I had difficulty in walking due to severely herniated spinal disc. It didn't get any better even after taking many kinds of medicine. But when I came to the Friday all-night service by the guidance of my colleagues, it was completely healed.
In that service, the Senior Pastor said to lay our hands on the sick parts when he was praying for the sicknesses. I laid my hand on my back and the pain was gone completely. It never recurred, and I am healthy. Hallelujah!

Family Members Accepted the Gospel
I felt like I was flying into the sky when I was healed of the herniated disc. I was filled with the Lord's love. I wanted to give something to the Lord, and I joined the choir and the Korean Traditional Dancing Team of the church to give glory to Him.
In 1994, I got married. I thought my husband was going to follow me to the church once we got married, but he and his mother hated the fact that I went to church. Many times he'd give me a hard time for that. But I tried to be a good wife and daughter-in-law, remembering the messages I heard in the church. Eventually, he opened up his mind and came to church with me. My mother-in-law, too, finally acknowledged my faith and accepted the Lord.
In September 2001, with the support of my husband and mother-in-law, I had a chance to perform as a member of the dancing team in the Philippines United Crusade of our Senior Pastor. The location of the crusade was directly in the course of 2 typhoons. The reporters asked the Senior Pastor at the press conference whether the crusade was going to be possible in the face of the typhoons. He said, "Typhoons will die out or change their courses. We'll have the crusade in good weather conditions. You will witness it firsthand."
As he said, one of the typhoons died out and the other changed its course, and the crusade was held successfully in good weather. There was a young man who had fallen unconscious and whose body had become stiff as a log. But upon the Senior Pastor's prayer he got up immediately. Many patients who came there on stretchers came to walk. Seeing that power of God my faith was reaffirmed.

In December 2004, we had the Peru United Crusade, and I went to Peru before the crusade to publicize the event for 40 days.
Even today, my husband and daughter support me in doing the Lord's work, and I am grateful. I am a sub-district leader in my parish, trying to deliver the love of the Father God and the Lord to the souls.

Leading a life in faith in Manmin Central Church for the past 30 years, each day of my life was happiness itself. God let me see the evidence of the living God, as if He were telling me, "I am here!" Furthermore, He gave me greater blessings than what I asked for in prayers.
God guided me to this church of blessing that is filled with God's love and hope of heaven. He is blessing me with greater things that I deserve. I give all thanks and glory to the faithful God!
