The 38th Anniversary of Church Opening & On-site Worship Service Resuming
We celebrated the 38th anniversary of our church’s opening on July 26th. On this day, the on-site worship service was resumed in 5 months, and over 220 people including some pastor, parish leaders, and mission leaders attended, keeping the government’s prevention measures such as having social distance and wearing a mask.
At the morning service, through the Senior Pastor, Dr. Jaerock’s video sermon, “Treasure of treasures is faith” (Heb. 11:1), it was preached that faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the spiritual faith is firstly the faith given from God above and secondly the faith of obeying what you cannot obey.
At the evening service, the 38th anniversary celebration service, Pastor Hyuncheol Joo, the president of pastors’ association preached under the title, “God Who Does and Accomplishes the Work” (Jeremiah 33:2).
Pastor Joo offered thanks to God who has been leading Manmin for the past 38 years, and preached that we should look back upon our faith first and keep on working on sanctification because we should have the sincere heart to fulfill God’s will.
Starting with Sunday Morning Service, we plan to expand the on-site service looking at the trend of coronavirus without endangering the safety of the church members and the community.
