“Now I can hear well with the right ear, with which I couldn’t hear!”

I was born in China and at 3, I fell from the second floor and injured my back. But I couldn’t afford to get medical treatment due to economical difficulty. After the marriage, my husband would stop at my store and asked for money for drinks with abusive words. I had to go through pains physically and mentally. In 2009, I heard that anyone could make a lot of money in South Korea and came to Korea. I got a job there but I developed hearing loss in the right ear due to the poor environment and stress, and sometimes fell down due to dizziness. As I had a heart disease, I clutched the chest even at a loud noise and would wake up suddenly startled at something at night. I suffered from insomnia that way. In 2020, I had cochlear surgery to correct hearing loss in my right ear. But rather I lost my hearing completely. In September 2022, I moved to another area and a neighbor preached the gospel to me. She was so kind and treated others very gently and warmly. I thought ‘I can trust the church she is attending,’ and registered in Manmin Central Church in October. She was my cell leader and taught me the words of God including keeping the Lord’s Day and giving whole tithes. She helped me live a faithful religious life. I really enjoyed my religious life along with my cell members. Ahead of Manmin Summer Retreat 2023, the cell leader and members encouraged me to receive healing at the retreat and planted faith into my heart. So I attended the retreat with the hope for healing. It happened at the session of the seminar and divine healing meeting in the evening of July 31, the first day of the retreat. While Acting Senior Pastor Soojin Lee prayed for the sick, she mentioned many kinds of diseases one by one including “Hearing loss, difficulty in hearing, tinnitus, otitis media…” I suddenly heard a crackling sound in the right ear and felt it refreshed. Immediately I thought I had been healed and I pulled my right ear to listen attentively. Amazingly, I could hear very well. Not only that, it felt like a cool breeze came into my chest, which had always been stuffy due to heart disease, and my chest became light. Hallelujah! That night I could sleep well. After the summer retreat, I have been enjoying joy and happiness in daily life. I give all thanks and glory to God and the Lord who healed me and made me truly happy.
