In 2009, when I was serving as assistant to the Minister of Natural Environment and Tourism in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, a colleague gave me a book Tasting Eternal Life before Death. It was Senior Pastor Jaerock Lee’s testimony in which he met God with the healing of all his diseases and became a world-renowned revivalist. I was so impressed at that book and registered in Kinshasa Manmin Church. While listening to Senior Pastor’s sermons in the services of the church, I was delighted with clear explanations of God’s will and really desired to live according to God’s words feeling the love of God. My faith was growing little by little and one day in 2011, I happened to experience something amazing. My wife was pregnant and the fetus was in danger, but through Senior Pastor’s time-and-space-transcending prayer my daughter was born healthy. After that whenever I came across unsolved problems, I sent prayer requests to him and received answers and solutions. Through Senior Pastor’s prayers, I got repeatedly promoted in public office. It is an unforgettable testimony that the Ebola virus was eradicated in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2014 through his prayer. As Governor of Equateur Province at the time, I was ordered by the President to use any means possible to eradicate the Ebola virus from Mbandaksa City as the Ebola virus spread, which started in the Boendesi Zera area, about 800 kilometers away from the provincial capital, Mbandakah City. However, there was nothing I could do so I only relied on Almighty God in prayers and sent a prayer request to Senior Pastor in South Korea. To my surprise, 15 days after he prayed there came to be no more infected case in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the infected patients were rapidly healed. Thus, Ebola virus was finally put to an end. Hallelujah! This gave me strong faith. I was greatly touched at Senior Pastor’s powerful prayer and protection of me, and it was a radical experience in my life. I visited South Korea and met Senior Pastor in 2015, which enhanced my eagerness for spreading the gospel in my country and I practiced even more diligently. In 2022 I was led by God to shepherd Kinshasa Manmin Church. When I pray with the handkerchief of power (Acts 19:11-12) that the Senior Pastor prayed on, diseases are healed, believers awaken spiritually, and the church is experiencing revival. My goal is to plant as many branch churches of Manmin throughout the Democratic Republic of the Congo as possible and to let my church take the lead in spreading the gospel in Central Africa. We will able to bear many fruits of revival in the Democratic Republic of Congo and many parts of Africa because the gospel of holiness changes people’s hearts.
