At around 10 a.m. on November 27, 2023, while riding on the back of a friend’s motorcycle, I suddenly felt dizzy, lost consciousness, and fell off the bike. At the hospital, my blood pressure had spiked above 180, and from that moment I developed hemiplegia, leaving me unable to move my left arm and leg. With the use of only one hand, even bathing became difficult, and I was unable to manage daily life on my own. Feeling like a burden to my mother, I fell into deep despair and even considered committing a suicide, but thankfully one of my friends stopped me.
▲ Suffering from hemiplegia before healing
After being discharged, I began suffering from insomnia. Worries about my condition and endless thoughts kept me from sleeping, and this continued for over three months. Then, in March 2026, I began attending Chiang Rai Manmin Church. The moment I entered the sanctuary, I felt an indescribable peace, and that night I was finally able to sleep deeply and comfortably. From then on, I gradually began to feel that God was with me. Afterwards, seeing the works of God’s power manifested through the prayers of pastor Soojin Lee, my faith grew. I resolved to rely on God alone, kept the Lord’s Day holy with all my heart, and offered Wednesday and Friday all-night services in spirit and truth. I also attended the Daniel Prayer Meeting every day, prayed earnestly, and received prayer from pastor Soojin Lee through the recorded video. God poured out amazing grace. Since my youth, I had been unable to quit drinking and smoking despite many efforts, but after receiving baptism in April 2026, I was completely freed from both. My quick temper also changed into a calm and gentle nature. In addition, after pastor Jaewon Lee of Chiang Rai Manmin Church prayed for me, laying his hand on from my shoulder down to my legs, the stiffness in my leg muscles and tendons was greatly relieved. My body felt lighter and more comfortable, and walking became easier. The leg that had barely moved began to move much more freely, and my hand, which had not moved, also regained motion. Before, I had to lift my foot with my hand to move it forward, but now I can extend it without help. Finally, from late June this year, I was able to walk without a cane. Hallelujah! Now I no longer take medication or visit the hospital. Joy and peace have filled my heart. Not only within myself, but also in my relationships with others, I have become much more at peace, and my faith and hope for heaven have grown stronger. Above all, I am so happy coming to church. I give all thanks and glory to Father God who reached out to me, renewed both my body and heart, and granted me a new life.
